Mild brain injuries taking toll on GIs

Getting to grips with Google Earth
[Fair Proxy Web] Meanwhile Google Earth, though it works just fine with a regular mouse and keyboard, cries out for experimenters to devise cooler navigation techniques. After all, zooming and zipping around the planet deserves more than the same tools used for opening and closing windows.

Playing with Google Earth Photo Overlays
[vaes9] It’s interesting to note that if you zoom out high above Metro Manila in Google Earth, you can see that the Ortigas and the Intramuros Overlays line up perfectly with the runways of NAIA. It just proves that these aerial photos were taken from a plane (either taking off or landing).
