[ James Fee GIS Blog] Some of the improvements are support for exported photo sets out of Picasa (meh), view KML overlays (wonderful) and customized marker icons. Improving Radius IM for geolocation+chat
[EisenBlog - Marc Eisenstadt's Home Page Blog at The Open University's Knowledge Media Institute] OS-specific notification widgets: Web-Centric Is Good, and Radius IM is an awesome player in this space, but let’s face it, sometimes it’s a drag, especially where presence/connectivity matters, so the way around this is to start developing operating-system specific notification widgets, that live entirely outside the browser.

GeoURL and Montreal Blogs
[crowded web] You'd want to take a subset of the results returned by geourl, otherwise you get too much noise. The way to do that is to host a page for each blog including geotags under a specific subdomain (for instance, this could be geo.yulblog.org or dir.yulblog.org (directory, for something more flexible)).
