Interacting with Flickr and GeoURL

 [Tagzania Blog | News and Announcements] But then, some months later, Flickr introduced its own mapping system, and people has began geotagging pictures massively, not with tripletags, but with Flickr's own mapping tool (based in Yahoo Maps). The process is now easier for photo fans, and therefore millions of photos are now geolocated in Flickr, much more are added everyday than in the tripletag era.

Maemo Plazer released

[Henri Bergius: Weblog] There are of course lots of development ideas we have for the application. We're considering if it could become a more generic WiFi utility by combining it with the GNOME WiFI autologin applet, and also planning to make it a GeoClue backend so that other geo-aware Maemo applications can use Plazes position information.

Global Peer Awards for Switzerland, France and US

Mio c720, c320, c520

 [GPS Review] These new models will feature many of the other standard GPS features we’ve seen from Mio such as an external antenna, speaker for voice guidance as well as MP3 music playback and a headphone connector. One other slight change is that it appears the expansion slot will accept both SD cards as well as MMC cards.
