Mind Your Street Using Shape2Earth for Online KML
[shape2earth] The maps section uses Google Maps and KML created using Shape2Earth to show crime statistics for a number of years. The maps can be queried by Region, County, and Local Authority.

620 Errors while testing with Google Geocoding
[creative source] If you are using Googles Geocoding Api you might experience occasional problems with 620 errors, especially while testing. The reason for this is Google prohibits too many calls in a short period.

Reverse Geocoding - Part II
[Google Maps Internals] A view into the recorded WireShark trace showed me, that the map was rendered using MS Virtual Earth and the reverse geocoding was basically done by use of a MS internal (?) web service. Internal, because I could not find any documentation in the web, neither a WSDL, nor any parameter description, but I'm pretty sure, this somehow belongs to the MapPoint web service phalanx, a very special chapter of its own...

Record Request - Ward Geocode doesn't stick
[LDS Technology Forums] When you request a record, you can fill in the Phone Number, Email Address, Address, and Geocode fields. Then when you actually receive the record(s), almost all of those fields are populated with the values I put in upon request.

RE: Clear Geocode cache every time I want to use map
[Forums] In order to make the map generate (either on the dashboard or in the locations area) i need to clear my geo-cache data. It only works once and then just defaults to the world view, as though no data has been given for it to map.

[Neil Rutherfoord.com] Here is some code and the SQL required to do searching based on Post Code it will give you distances between post codes, Suburbs close by, All suburbs with that post code, Distance between 2 post codes / long & lat, Give you the post code for the specified suburb.
