[geobloggers] Panaramio photos, but it also means Google has a bit more understand of where a photo is and it’s context to the surrounding area than Flickr itself has. I guess this means they’ll make it onto the iPad version of GoogleMaps too.

This is another proving point in the case for the human built map.

[geobloggers] Google Map Photos and SuperGeotagged « geobloggers: Google on the other hand could possible render the tiles on the fly, if you compare the two images below, the first from Google and the second from SuperGeotagged, it looks like Googles coverage is quite sparse, which is isn’t. Actually they seem to have just deciding to render only a certain number (sorted somehow) of photos at a time, for if they are using the same photos in maps.google.com as they are in Google Earth, they should have over 3x as many photos represented here than you see on the SuperGeotagged map.

For each photo, I've tagged where they were taken with the lat and lon, if you need to look up the addresses via Google you can do that now, or read them off your GPS photos like I did.

I have a bunch of pics geotaggedat the dealership so if they were usingflickr pics everywhere I think mine wouldhave shown up too.
