Ogle Earth: Google Earth is good for you. Ogle Earth: Google Earth is good for you.: One difference is that the PC saves a KML file with a <Folder> element at its root, whereas the Mac uses <Document>, into which it places a <Folder>. But more importantly for debugging the calculator, the Mac version also saves <visibility> and <open> for each placemark, so that later, the folder's state is preserved when the KML is uploaded back into Google Earth. Hillside Meditations Hillside Meditations: Apart from giving me a chance of always knowing where my towel is - I haven´t yet found something on flagging down saucers in the manual, though - I became convinced of definitely needing to have such a thing by this Makezine article on geotagging your digital photos (another tutorial on a more automated approach to geotagging the exif-files of your snaps is here) . Makezine.comhttp://www.makezine.com [Makezine.com] MAKE: Blog: HOW TO GPS Tag Photos: Flickr, Mappr, Google Earth....: There's a new integration of flickr and google maps that can simplify the process of locating position in Google Maps, tagging photos and posting to Geobloggers. A map is embedded into flickr for users to see where the photos were taken without leaving flickr.
