Class Action Lawsuit Accuses Microsoft of Illegal Geotagging ...
[threatpost - The First Stop for Security News] The suit, filed by one Rebecca Cousineau, on behalf of other Windows Phone 7 users, accuses Microsoft of violating federal laws and of submitting false testimony to the U.S. Congress about its activities. The suit, is just the latest to raise questions about mobile phone companies' data collection practices.

[Photography Forum & Digital Photography Forum] Third is a direct geotagging way, some cameras has the built-in gps such as Nikon P6000, sony a55 and some by external gps, Nikon released GP-1 to support direct real time geotagging, and there are also many third party products for Nikon which are more cost effective. Some of Canons, 40D, 50D, 5D MARK etc.

Facebook Geolocation Announcement Expected Wed. | WebProNews
