http://metaphordummy.blogspot.com [Metaphor, Dummy] When viewed with Google Earth, most places have clearly visible buildings, landmarks, even cars parked on the streets. But some areas, such as the North American city in the screenshot detail above, are mysteriously blurred.

http://presstalk.blogspot.com [Don't trust the Indian Media!] The ToI discovers Google Earth. Yipee!: While Bombay is a blurry mess, and Bangalore can hardly be recognised, southern Delhi is beautifully resolved, I can even see the cars parked outside my house, my school, almost all my friends homes, the vast farmhouses of Chattarpur, Delhi Airport, Gurgaon (though only a two year old picture, so its slightly inaccurate, but the Maruti factory can be seen) though because northern Delhi is blurred out you can't see Delhi University. Now, what is even more surprising is that I wrote about this potential risk (and the fact that you can see the NDMC area clearly) in a Tech column that I occasionally write for a publication.

Webpronews.comhttp://www.webpronews.com [Webpronews.com] Introducing Google Earth: All that went away, when Google Earth flew me into my neighborhood, and I started putting placemarks on my bedroom and on the homes of some of my friends. Then, I set up a tour of those locations, and marveled as I was, indeed, taken on an aerial tour of my ‘hood.

Lostnomad.blogs.com[Lostnomad.blogs.com] The Lost Nomad: Does Kim Jong-il use Google Earth?: If CheongWaDae is a sensitive facility that needs to blurred out ala the White House and OEOB, the Capitol and surround Senate/House buildings, it's probably not a good idea to post a picture in your newspaper. I was looking at the Chosun screenshot above and trying to figure out why the heck they'd include the menu bar on the left and the taskbar at the bottom - but I can hear this rationalization: "I'm not releasing a 1m resolution picture of CheongWaDae on the internet, I'm releasing a picture of Google Earth showing a 1m resolution picture of CheongWaDae.
