[Laptop GPS World] In addition, if one finds that the track as produced and displayed in RouteConverter is out of place, as I've found re the Panama Canal [some of the positions are next to the lock instead of in the lock, for example] the position can be corrected using Google Earth with the SAME track and RouteConverter, and WordPad if there are a lot of similar points, where find and replace is effective. You can locate the CORRECT point in Google Earth by zooming in and finding the incorrect location, reading its value to confirm the value showing for that point in RouteConverter, then move the mouse pointer to the correct location, and, using the latitude or longitude values for the correct point, change the incorrect latitude or longitude values for that same point in the RouteConverter record for that particuar point in the file.

[bioneural.net] An ABC of geotagging photos on the Mac at bioneural.net: Track logs and wayppoints can sometimes be loaded into geotagging software directly from the device (via Bluetooth or USB), or via a file that has first been exported from the device—with or without a file format conversion. Since the software supplied with your device is likely to be Windows-only, you may need to use a third-party connection/ conversion tool under OS X.
