[I am on crack and I blog] Even with the new year spirit, I can never be any other unless me myself. Unlike you, maybe you have the greatest big heart for not being yourself.

[Ogle Earth] Ogle Earth: Turn online collaborative spreadsheets into live KML (!): of North Carolina (there was apparently a UK publisher named Pentland Press that went into liquidation) the only information I can find about the publisher is its imprint Ivy House, which describes its "mission" as "to offer an investment-based program, whereby an author has every chance of financial recuperation. You would fully invest in the first edition of the publication."[1] I'm sure this was written by someone who thought Dr.
[James Fee GIS Blog] James Fee GIS Blog » Blog Archive » Open Thread: If anything, the excitement of one highly commrecial product, Google Earth, is leveraged in GIS only by other commercial products, like Manifold, which can automatically stream georeferenced tiles from image servers for real GIS work [ I trust we are all sophisticated enough here to understand that "real GIS work" is much more than drawing a limited amount of points or other data on someone else's web site]. The OpenStreetMap people get all excited about the possibility of doing that with a limited set of images from Yahoo!, but commercial products like Manifold have been doing that for a long time and from multiple image servers (WorldWind, the Earths, Yahoo, etc) for a long time.
[One Year Bible Blog] One Year Bible Blog: April 4th One Year Bible Readings: The Amidah is begun by taking three steps forward (into the presence of God, sometimes after taking three steps backward out of the material world) and is finished with three steps backward (just as one would part from an altar or Rabi) while saying “He who makes peace in the heavens, may He make peace for us all. And, let us say, Amen.” On Sabbath eve, after the congregation has read the Amidah silently, the reader repeats the following:
[Assorted Ravings] Google's Promising Open Attitude: The important thing is that Google is demonstrating a very promising attitude towards openness. Free software purists might dislike that this posts alludes primarily to open source, not freedom, but I say forget the terminology: Google is doing a great job of addressing practicalities and issues of freedom alike.
[CNN Political Ticker] CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive ...: I find it disturbing when a bishop that professes to follow the same Christ that taught not only love but self denial, control of the carnal man, true agape, pure love of men,,,when a bishop of psuedo Christianity changes what God is and what God taught, He needs to worry more about what he'll say when he stands before Christ. As for his concern about what message does the choice of what man to pray for our countrys future send…it appears this is the message ", that the media create values or lack of values and that the squeaky wheel gets the attention, will God hear the prayers of a sodomist?Isn't this anti Christ? God loves all men, but you can be sure He doesn't sleep with them!
[Government 2.0 Taskforce] Your Invitation to MashUpAustralia | Government 2.0 Taskforce: or I thought you said that the Au data was probably now unlicensed?) that are purposefully built for data, when as I understand it, cczero acts as a waiver and then in default a license (similar a CC license) and pdd attempts to waive copyright/dedicate the work to the public domain (and the history of development within CC suggests it wasn’t purposefully built for data). So I am at a loss to understand why a waiver is purposefully built for/better data and a CC BY license is not, particularly if you don’t subscribe to the CC license=mere license theory…..because it may be difficult to identify precisely where the copyright line is drawn?
