[James Fee GIS Blog] Don’t get me wrong - I’d like to see the government throw piles of cash into GIS as much as the next guy, but is now the right time to invest a billion+ into technologies that yield limited immediate benefits? I’m not saying that our government shouldn’t invest in GIS, I’m just wondering why we’re talking about making the investment right now.
