[ProgrammableWeb.com» Web 2.0 API Reference Guide] Mega-Mashup: And another wow-factor mashup comes from Rev Dan Cat at geobloggers showing-off what’s now possible with a bit a geocoding, Flash, photos and more in the mix. Other details at his blog.
[The Map Room: A Weblog About Maps] Yahoo! Maps Upgrade: Maybe Yahoo hasn’t learned from Flickr when they were forced by consumers to abandon their flash interface and move to a AJAX one. I don’t care how useful the API is, flash is a non starter for me.
[BotHack] Quickie: Weekly: Rev Dan Catt is up to some neat stuff - In much the same way you can add audio (.mp3) and video (.mov) links. Geobloggers places audio and video in enclosure tags in its RSS and geoRSS feeds, making it possible to easily use geobloggers to create your own Podcasting feeds.

[Geobloggers.blogspot.com] geobloggers: If you take geobloggers as an example, you can use the API to download user submitted photos, notes and audio from around a location with no adverts and in the future this will extend to tour and guides. I can see how other companies could take a (good I think) business model of offering guides with a couple of adverts or premium paid-for content thrown in.
